NVU coaches

As a parent of a player who was there during the most important recruiting period, I agree with this. My son ended but being recruited to play in college and is happy; got a lot of playing time as a freshman, too. However the club did ZERO to facilitate and help him be seen. His grades were excellent, he put in a LOT of work in his free time on his own, did all the legwork emailing coaches and attending camps, but there was a lot of favoritism for certain players. Most of whom were not recruitable due to grades or their year in school. Just my thoughts.

Interesting. Just to add: NVU had one of the top players in the area this past year. He was not getting anywhere near the recruiting looks he should have and I heard he figured he wouldn’t play in college. Finally, just a few weeks ago, he got an offer and committed to William & Mary.
