Oh please. We need an industrial base for many reasons. We should not offshore all manufacturing. If war breaks out it's difficult to gin that up overnight. Plus, buying everything from overseas just reduces our independence and leverage globally. We need long term strategic thinking.

Don't turn your nose up at manual labor. No one is consigning you to factory work.
