sports ideas for autism/ADHD?

Not baseball/softball. Too much standing around, too much “mental game” and focus on individual performance.

At a young age you can try team ball sports but may find the “fighting for the ball” requirements don’t match up with their drive.

Much better are:
Racquet sports
Swim
Track & field
Softball (man your area, no one attacking you)
Volleyball (until requires very fast reactions and situational awareness)
Skiing
Rowing

Rock climbing, gymnastics, and parkour have all been great for my adhd/hfa kids. Dive team too, until anxiety kicked in. Swim team can work if your kid is either very good or not focused on winning, but my kids found anything with a "race" element didn't work.
