You MAGA are so ignorant to the rules of government employees. Are you posting from Russia where you’ve accepted corruption? We don’t have to accept it and we won’t.

I don’t know the details of that and maybe it was ethically dubious, but it not at all like literally selling face time with people who have the ear of the president. Or the president himself - like he just did with his MAGA coin grift. You cannot sell access to yourself.

Anyone who signs up for this deserves to be separated from their money, but I suspect it’s a money laundering operation.

It’s clearly influence peddling. I mean come on - “Executive Branch”?

And the crowd who screamed about Hunter Biden has nothing to say about this, of course.

I find it fascinating how the offspring of the wealthy tend to be grifters and scummy and lazy. I guess when you prioritize money parenting falls off the wayside. The shittiest people I know all have generational wealth. And they suck as human beings.

Don Jr. is co-founding a new private club in Georgetown called Executive Branch. Co-founders include: Omeed Malik and Christopher Buskirk of 1789 Capital, the investment firm that made Trump Jr. a partner last year; Alex Witkoff and Zach Witkoff, the sons of billionaire real estate developer Steve Witkoff, a longtime friend of the President’s and the current Middle East envoy.

The club is expected to be a social hub for political and business elites, similar to the Trump International Hotel during the Trump presidency--in other words, a space where people wanting to influence the Trump administration can do so. Some of the founding members include: White House crypto czar David Sacks, crypto investors Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, and tech investor Chamath Palihapitiya.

The club already has a waiting list, despite the high price ($500,000 membership fee plus additional regular charges). In attendance at Saturday’s launch were: Marco Rubio, Pam Bondi, Tulsi Gabbard, Dan Bongino, Mehmet Oz, among others. Apparently there will be a strict vetting process for new members and referrals will be required.

I'm so grossed out by America and the MAGA party of "family values and christianity"

Seriously. This is way worse than Hunter.

It’s a way to circumvent campaign contributions

It's a way to corruptly influence US business policy by lining the personal pockets of the Trump family, just like Trump's "World Liberty Financial" Crypto company. The people paying for these clubs and these crypto coins don't care if the thing itself has any value at all. The value is in the influence they are purchasing, obviously.

Ngl, the name sounds like a strip club. These people are so tacky.

Remember when Trump was elected the first time and people cared about the emoluments clause? Good times, good times.

Hunter was a visible example, but the grift during the Biden administration was pretty heavy.

I honestly don’t think this is necessarily true. IMO, but the proportion of bad people is fairly similar across the income spectrum. Wealth just magnifies behavioral tendencies both good and bad. So terrible wealthy people cause a lot more damage because they are significantly more insulated from the consequences of their actions.

+1. It’s like they’ve taken the ethics rules that every federal government employee is warned that are firing offenses if they were violated and tossed them into their gold plated toilets.
