I’m guessing VERY. Peak season in all of Europe is July and August.

Was there last July and it was totally fine. Busy but not overwhelming. A lot of the appeal are the areas around it too. We did Hallstatt, including the salt mines, and that was busier. But we went first thing in the morning before the tour buses got there.
