Just heard reporting that while arrests are up this year. Actual deportations are below last year under Biden. |
I’m still convinced he is getting kickbacks from the for profit prison people. Otherwise, what’s the benefit for detaining people who don’t pose any threat? |
What about self deportation? At this point I’ll take quality over quantity. We definitely know border crossings have dropped over 90%. |
It's the Democrats fault for blurring the lines. Talk about incompetence. People who don't belong here shouldn't be given driver licenses or allowed to purchase homes etc. |
Citizenship is not a requirement for home ownership in these United States. If it was, so many homes would not be owned by the Chinese, Russians and Saudi’s. With that said, I don’t think foreigners should be allowed to purchase houses that sit vacant the majority of the year when we have such a housing shortage. |
Biden deported more people in his sleep.
Is there anything that Donald is better at than Biden? 750? What percent are here legally? lol. |
He can put up all the mugshots he wants on WH land. It will appeal to MAGA, but everyone else is not so easily distracted by these tactics. See his steadily dropping favorability numbers and the stats that show that he is losing support for his signature issues--improving the economy and handling immigration. |
Trump shut the border down in a month. Biden and the Border Czar combined not only couldn't to it in 4 years, they actually accelerated illegal crossings to the highest levels in history. |
That's nice, but he's tanking the economy and we are headed toward a recession. What do you think will matter to most people the most at the end of the day--immigration or their wallets? |
Local Democratic Party: "The El Paso County Democratic Party is expressly concerned about the public statements released by Mayor Yemi Mobolade and the El Paso County Board of Commissioners regarding the joint ICE raid in our community this weekend. City and county leadership failed their constituents by refusing to call for restraint, compassion, or due process for the very residents they represent. At a time when U.S. residents are being wrongly detained by ICE and subjected to brutal prison conditions in countries like El Salvador, it is especially shocking to see our city and county governments provide cover for rogue police forces by publicly praising them. Instead of standing up for the rights and dignity of the very residents they were elected to serve—including citizens who may have voted for them—they chose silence and complicity. Residents, including U.S. citizens, are at real risk of wrongful detention, deportation, and imprisonment—or worse. Their failure to act demands condemnation. We stand in solidarity with local and state immigration rights groups who have called attention to these abuses and who continue to fight for human dignity, constitutional rights, and true public safety for all members of our community. The El Paso County Democratic Party is currently engaged in consultations to determine how we can best support ongoing legal efforts to defend due process and protect the rights and safety of all our residents." |
Yes, very likely. Or at least large campaign donations. |
Very much like the Nazis rounding up the Jews.
Be very afraid. |
Yes, he, Trump, is indisputably better at discouraging and ultimately preventing people from entering the country in ways other than traditional formal immigration processes. That is what I primarily care about. I don't want a police state, and if we can prevent people from entering, that ultimately solves the problem. We should see deportations fall under such a scenario. |
