| I can’t remember exactly how long I’ve had it, at least 15 years maybe 20 years. I bought my Vitamix at Costco. I use it every single day to blend everything from smoothies to make peanut butters and it is holding on strong! I can’t tell you how happy I am with it and would recommend spending the money it will last you. |

I hate my Ninja blender, I would never recommend anyone get one.
The motor is extremely powerful but that is the only good thing about it. The blade design is horrible, there are only horizontal blades so there are always big chunks of food left in the bottom. You cannot make smooth sauces or purees. Literally every other blender on the planet has figured out how to make a design that funnels food to vertical blades at the bottom, why hasn't Ninja?! Also neither the bucket nor lid are dishwasher safe. I put them in one time and both are so warped I have to put a towel over the top or else liquid shoots everywhere. |
| I use vitamix for gazpacho and love it. But don't use it for anything else. I should explore it more. Have had it for a decade. |

Purchased a Vitamix Ascent A5 in September after years of cheaper blenders dying ..
So far it’s been worth it Link https://www.vitamix.com/us/en_us/shop/ascent-x5 |

I have a commercial vita mix and it will outlast me. It's amazing and can't be beat. But it is of course not necessary for the average persons needs.
I've also used a Ninja and it costs far less and works really well. |
| Received a hand me down Vitamix about 12 years ago. I've used it practically every day for smoothies. Had a Nutri bullet before the Vitamix. We also have a Ninja (I hate it!). Team Vitamix! |
| I got a vitamix 17 years ago and it’s going strong. Totally worth it! |
| Did I mention it blends nut butters???? |

Omg the Sarah Silverman SNL Vitamix sketch…

| I've had a Vitamix for about 15 years and I find it terrible for smoothies. now I am wondering what I have been doing wrong based on everyone's comments. I CONSTANTLY have to stop it, open and stir the ingredients around as it creates little air pockets and then the blade is doing nothing. I do love it for soups. However, I have the plastic container and it is a PITA to clean. For smoothies, I use the Beast, which is great and the blending bottle is portable and goes in the dishwasher. |
| I have a vitamix that was a gift. It’s better than any other blender I’ve had, but idk if I’d buy it myself. I ended up buying a magic bullet so I’d have something smaller (dressing, sauce, chimichurri etc). I will say when we travel and have to use crappy hotel/airbnb blenders I curse them lol. I’m definitely used to the power and consistency of the vitamix. |
Are you loading the blender in the correct order? Liquids first, dry second, leafy third, frozen last. I find the order does help prevent those issues. |
