What are some ideas of where to stay with 250,000 Marriott bonvoy points?

I generally use points for trips I’m already planning and I use them in 2 ways. 1) NYC hotels are ridiculously expensive, and I generally use points. Considering room tax, this feels like a solid use. I suspect this holds true for other major cities. 2) if I’m flying and needs a night near an airport, we probably use points. Last minute hotel to break up a long drive? Points. Not exciting but practical.

We just spent a fraction of that at the Westin Cape Coral - bonus is that many units have kitchens and onsite laundry.

Los Suenos in Costa Rica and a few other Costa Rican properties have been on my list. You can do a few trips to Panama if you plan it well. As pp said there are a few Ritz that tend to work well, but you can forget about places like the JW Marco Island.
