Strange NOVA behavior

You were all able to make sense of OP’s post? Seemed like AI gone very wrong.

+1. And certain parking lots are worse than others. I try to park far away from the entrance because of this.

Regarding obliviously blocking the aisle with cart/body in the grocery store - I have noticed that nearly 100 percent of the time, it's a man doing this. At the time of day I go, there tend to be fewer men than women, so it's especially noticeable. Idk if it's a manspreading thing or if there's some reason they tend to be more oblivious than women. Sometimes they are on a phone, but sometimes they aren't.

I'm in NOVA and as a DC native/Arlington native I notice this behavior a lot. I'm a little nicer but my mom (DC native latin mom) will straight up tell the people they are being rude and say loudly in her accented english "EXCUSE ME!!!!" these people think they can block a whole aisle of people and can't go to their house to talk??!!! Happens everywhere though roads too.

Lots of other spaces all around and 4 other cars decide to park right next to me the second I put my car in park. So now I’m stuck in the car waiting for everyone else to get out and run into the store because I also have a baby in the backseat that I need to settle into a stroller and don’t want to feel rushed and cramped doing so while 5-6 adults are exiting their cars all around me. It’s absolutely insane. I’m just like… hello! There is plenty of parking everywhere!!! Then people are slow browsing the store and because the aisles are so narrow only one cart can fit through. Well I’m browsing one aisle with the stroller and clearly a cart is not going to fit through, but several adults attempt to try and there is awkwardness of who is going to back up and let the other person go through. Hello! You are one adult. You can leave your cart at the entrance of the aisle and browse, I cannot leave my baby in a stroller at the entrance or the aisle. I know trolls are going to flame me for even brining a baby out to run an errand but I don't care. This is basic common courtesy that folks are lacking these days and it is so low class and selfish. Thanks for starting this thread OP so I can vent too.

I have never heard of leaving (or seen) cart at entrance of the aisle - wouldn't that block aisle for everyone else?

I always point out to my kids in the car don’t do this, never do this, even if you think you’re in the right, because you’re trusting whoever is driving the car to stop and wait and are you willing to put your life in some stranger’s hand? You may be right but do you want to be dead right (as in right but dead because you vs car, car always wins).

I think sometimes people just don’t care if they live or die anymore 😞

Well it's like the speeders holding up traffic with their urgency to get home to take a dump. They don't care if they inconvenience you they gotta be first cause if you're not first in nova you're nothing. And if they get run over by a car they get paid so it's a win win for them.

Park further away. It's not my fault you decided to park right by the entrance.

If you aren't first, you're last.

This is why I send someone else to pick up my Whole Foods order.

They mean parallel park it in front of the end of the aisle. So all you're blocking is the Entemann's. Which is overpriced and never goes on sale anymore.

You think living in NOVA is “having achieved in life”.

You need to get out more

Seems that way. My Maryland family is trying to move to Virginia and the ones that have moved here have been doing much better in life.
