I believe he may have recently suffered a serious injury, so I recommend people give him some grace online despite the alleged sketchiness. However, Arlington is not known for making amazing coaching hires within its ECNL ranks.

Seems like a nice man but I also don’t know how he’s coaching an ECNL team. Seems like he’s short on experience and understanding.

Can someone explain the sock comment?

That is true- he is injured and I hope he’s able to recover well. But he overshared stuff that was a no-go for me.

Interesting that the current Arlington coaches and EG can't seem to get many of their ECNL girls into the US Talent ID Camps. Maybe next year's coaching slate will have better luck.

Or it's a natural de-selection process. Notice how other clubs also have less players into the pool after a few events? Some just don't cut it after they're given an opportunity.

Possibly at some ages, though, other clubs seem to be able to secure invites regardless of talent. That said, their 2011 team is quite good so it would seem that at a minimum they should be able to get invites for a number of those players.
