| Don't give it another thought. Bring whatever is easiest. The kids do not care. The parents are just glad you brought them so they did not have to. |
| lots of times they ONLY want store-bought, nothing made at home. |
|
| Totally fine, OP. But if you’re concerned about being judged about supporting Walmart, just put the cupcakes on a separate plate or casserole dish or whatever. |
| Walmart cupcakes 🧁 will be okay but if you have the time + money, perhaps you can purchase some from a more upscale local bakery. |
Lol grocery store cupcakes are totally fine. I choose not to shop at Walmart due to their labor practices but assume their cupcakes are tasty |
| It's a grocery store like any other, you can absolutely bring cupcakes from there |
| We’ve had cakes and cupcakes from Giant for every one of DC’s birthday parties, and they are always inhaled. |
lol! Preschoolers do not need expensive cupcakes. Buying local is best but spending a reasonable amount, not overspending, on this would be my priority. Kids won’t care. |
+1 It’s ok. Nobody cares. |
I don't shop at WalMart, but why would anyone waste money on an "upscale local bakery" on preschool kids? |
Truly honestly, nobody cares. It’s all about the parents ego. The kids will love any cupcake you give them. Some will only eat the frosting, some will only eat the bread, some eat the entire thing, including the paper lining. The kids don’t care. |
Even Wawa? |
How do their labor practices impact you? I shop there often and get delivery and staff are great. Many appreciate having a job. You are not hurting walmart, you are hurting the employees. Walmart is a grocery store. |
