| BU. I graduated in 04. It was really hard in my major but the school was filled with some total idiots back then. Loved it though! |
| LOL BU for me. It was the safety for C students at my private school. In CA, UC Berkeley had a 50% acceptance rate and would accept most solid B students. UC San Diego was for dummies. UC Davis was a safety for anyone with Bs and a few Cs. |
Compared to the perception of Oberlin I had in the 1990s, it has indeed seemed to fall off dramatically. |
| Boston U |
| U Penn |
| University of Spoiled Children (USC) |
Nope. Vanderbilt has been competitive and difficult to get into for a long time. |

I graduated college in the 90s. USNWR rankings existed but I don't know anyone who was really aware of them. This was pre-internet so you would need to buy the magazine or go to the library. Pretty much everybody went to a public college except one who went to West Point and one to Princeton.

Is Northeastern hyped up now? In the 90s it sucked and only people with not the greatest grades went there. |
This never happened for us. I actually learned critical thinking skills during my education. |
