Harvard or Stanford or MIT

Can she go to all of them?

Sooooo, your kid got into Harvard, MIT, and Standford, but your strategy for choosing among them is to solicit advice from random anonymous strangers on a forum known to be a viper pit of insecurity? Mk. Right. Gotcha.

Good point…if anyone here knows, I hear a lot about opportunity for Harvard and MIT students to cross register. I realize there are some restrictions on the MIT side, but my question is whether this cross registration really happens in any quantitative way vs being a theoretical option. For those that did it, why?

MIT or Princeton or Harvard. Stanford CS is full of people trying to hustle their way to getting their GPT wrapper an inflated valuation.

How does he wish to engage his creative side? If he wants to perform at the collegiate level, he should consider that the schools with a less creative reputation would have less intense competition for, say, spots on the orchestra.

In the end, it will depend on the student. If introverted, Stanford. If they want to coast, Harvard. If they want to be really challenged, MIT.

I went to MIT. I didn't apply to Harvard
But in retrospect Harvard would have been more enjoyable, a better alumni experience, less grinding.
I would pick Harvard and cross register selectively if something is unavailable. The calendars don't align perfectly look at them.

If you look at the Nature study, https://www.nature.com/articles/s41599-024-03547-8, Harvard has a HUGE advantage. Better than the rest of the Ivy League combined.

Troll. No one gets accepted to all three.

My kid had a choice between Harvard and MIT full pay, but instead chose Alabama on a full ride.
