She should adopt them. Having a bio kid and working on your 3rd surrogate is just odd. We have so many unwanted kids already alive who need a home. She was on WWHL this week and her entire appearance was just off putting. You can read about it on Reddit. |
Not everybody wants to adopt. That’s their right. Who knows what you’re getting when your adopt. Nope, I want to know the prenatal care and the environment is good. I want my own biological children. |
You DO know that there are very few healthy babies available for adoption, right? The mail goal of foster care is reunification with birth parents, or kinship adoption (being adopted by a relative or someone the child already has an established relationship with). And we don't know all three were with surrogates, just the most recent one. |
Agree. I can't even begin to criticize this. All the congrats to Michelle. |
I just went and watched her appearance on WWHL. She seems nervous but is perfectly nice and thoughtful in her responses. She clearly is not the type to pre-game and then drink her way through the appearance like a housewife. She is not trying to be scandalous or create drama or get people talking about the outrageous things she said on the show. |
/ Will have to check it out. I saw the show when it was on and was thrown off by her... coldness/piousness/stand offishness. Those words don't quite describe it, though. She wan't outright rude. I mean she wan't horrible but was giving off weird energy like when you try to include someone in a group conversation and they just keep shutting down/not responding to any topic. Not sure if she is dull/doesn't have much to say or is painfully shy or what her deal is. |
I can get behind a cold woman tbh. We’re so socialized to be fawning and agreeable.
Going so quickly from a failed quickie marriage to three babies seems a tad manic though. |
MW having had a breakup with an addict who passed and was briefly her man back in 2008 is ancient history. Cheating on her first actual husband with her now then married husband and using poorer women to incubate her babies is cheap. She’s a talented actress and a good audiobook reader, and an a$$hole. |
+1 |
I don’t understand the hate toward surrogacy. |
Yeah, me neither. What happened to women being able to make decisions about their own bodies?!? |
Because we rarely hear about non-wealthy couples having surrogates (other than family member). So if only the super rich are seemingly doing something en masse that requires putting mostly non wealthy women in extremely vulnerable and potentially life threatening situations, it gives people pause. |
I love being pregnant btw x3 and would gladly be a surrogate but I believe even more strongly in bio connections of mama and newborn. If I’m going to give birth, I’m going to |
Keep baby close for as long as I can. |
In Chrissy Tiger's defense (never thought I'd say those words), she had multiple miscarriages and a stillborn and didn't think she could give live birth again. |
