Nonrefundable plane tix to UK in Aug?

I have used Insuremytrip and shop around there for the cheapest policy that meets my needs (trip delay/interruption/cancel/baggage loss/medical evacuation mostly). I have had two claims both with different companies and both went well (one I got 200$ more than i expected after a cancelled flight with a 24 hour delay and loss of three hotel nights). I just booked two policies for this year and those are two different companies as well. I never book for the full cost because I am willing to take some loss if necessary and those issues above will just be partial losses.
