It sounds like she’s at grade level. But if the teacher is concerned, and given that your DD has had language delays, I would totally put her through evaluation. Another thing is that to test her at home, use a random material of the same level instead of school worksheets. Because there’s a chance that the content of the worksheet might have been covered at school, she might have memorized the phrases used instead of really being able to read. I am saying this because when my own child was very young, DC could memorize simple book contents after being read to maybe a couple times. The onset looked like DC could read, but if the same words were put in different context or books, DC couldn’t recognize them.

buy some bob books and scolastic leveled readers - she sounds like she is at A. My kid wasn't there in K, even, as their excellent private school doesn't even teach reading in K. They are perfectly on grade level, if not advanced now.
