The documentary about him was *stunning*

He was an artist.

+1. He also likely had a DNR and medical directive that asked for no interventions.

An obituary said that he "oozes appeal" and boy that had that right.

Real Genius, Top Secret when he was very young. And I know the Saint didn't get good reviews but I found him irresistible in that.

I loved him as Batman - again maybe not the best reviewed but he looked so good. Even with the mask on and you could just see his lips.

This makes me so sad. RIP Iceman and so many other iconic characters.

I'm your Huckleberry.

Hottest depiction of a TB victim ever.

Also, if anyone is doing a retrospective of his career, don't miss Thunderheart. RIP, Val. You were a complicated guy, but truly talented.

Well said.

It's heartbreaking to survive the cancer and then succumb to pneumonia. Different cancer, but same thing happened to my relative at the same age.

I’m I thought he was an incredible actor, but something about him reminded me of a dinosaur.

He was so freaking hot as Iceman!!! That’s how I’ll forever remember him. RIP, Val.

This is so sad. At one time he was a heavy smoker, which most likely caused his cancer. I hate cancer.
