Why would anyone think that if you react to nickel, you would also react to titanium?

Some titanium alloys contain nickel. But nickel allergy is very common so I would be surprised if the implants do contain nickel, that would be poor planning from the manufacturer.

I’m very sensitive to metals including nickel, and I had no issue with the titanium marker.

Same. The biopsy marker has not been an issue.

I can only wear titanium, platinum, or 18-24k gold jewelry. Allergic to all else.

OP, thanks for asking the question! I too am going for a callback look and was wondering about the titanium with a nickel allergy. May all go well for both of us.

I have a mouthful of titanium dental implants and a titanium marker/clip in one breast. All good.

I have 4. At least one migrated, but it doesn’t really matter. No issues.

I have one. It is no big deal. And I also am allergic to nickel. This is not something to worry about. Is this displaced anxiety about whether you have cancer?
