I thought it was going to be just about racism but this is about squashing any dissent. That’s the theme with all of this…silencing Congress people who disagree, calling to impeach judges who go against Trump, cutting research, dismantling high education. If this way happening anywhere else in the world, we wouldn’t be debating if it’s heading into fascism.

I thought everyone knew to purge their phones before going through customs.

I delete all social media and messaging apps. I also don't use any social media names that include my real name, real photo, or tie to my Gmail that I use.

CBP doesn't need a warrant to confiscate your phone. CBP are also the only authorities that can legally compel you to unlock your phone and/or hand over your passcode.

I'm sure they, the Government, are compiling a list of everyone on social media who is critical of Trump and Musk. I wouldn't be surprised if this happens more often. I bet he was on a list and when he went through customs, there was an alert to search and deny.

“…JUST about racism”? Wow. So it’s “squashing any dissent” — which is at least about actual behavior — that you want to call out, much more than“just … racism” — which penalizes people for daring to exist?
