Easily 2 days each plus travel-unlike others, not a huge fan of Morocco.

If you have been through customs already in Seville, do you just waltz through to Gibraltar or do you need a visa since it is UK territory?

With a US passport, you don’t need a visa.

In Granada, visit the Hamman

Highly recommend everything about Seville. May want to consider a stop in Malaga and the trip to Gibralter. I'd add Portugal before Morocco.

We stayed overnight in Tarifa Spain two nights and took a day trip to Tangiers on a pre-booked day tour. Other than the requisite trip to the carpet store, highly recommend.

Do you remember the your company or how you found them? I'm wondering how much needs to be booked in advance for our Spain trip, like if we could add on Morocco last minute if we feel up for it but not if we're content staying put.

We arrived early in Granada via train, did the Alhambra in the afternoon, hot chocolate and shopping the next morning and were out of there. Plenty of time. We did Seville in three days but I could have easily geeked another day or two.

The food was spectacular everywhere.

Tickets are cheaper to Malaga when compared to Seville. Or should I fly into Granada, train to Cordoba, then Seville, then day trip to Gibraltar and fly out of Malaga?

Any must see places in Malaga?

Also interested in tips on Malaga, as we are flying there and going to Granada to see Alhambra in October.

I’ve been to Seville and Morocco on separate trips, and for those considering Morocco as an add-on to Andalusia, my advice would be to stay in Andalusia and go to Morocco on a separate trip. Tangier is not even close to being the most interesting place to see in Morocco, and I wouldn’t take time away from Andalusia just to tick the box. In Morocco don’t miss Fes and camping in the Sahara Desert.

You “did” these places?

Add the Casa de Pilatos to your list for Sevilla. Malaga is a lovely little city and worth the trip. Chefchaoun is neat, I enjoyed spending a night there. You don’t need more than a night in Tangier.

Absolutely! It is amazing. The Mesquita is fabulous, but there is a lot more too. There is a fast train between Seville and Cordoba too, which makes it easy.

I want to do this trip solo, are these cities safe for women traveling alone? Seville, Granada, Cordoba
