Assuming OP is connecting on BA on a single ticket, they will not go through passport control or customs, but will go through a security check. You can confirm the steps here:

I agree that 1:15 is tight, but one thing to consider is the next available flight to Athens. It may be an hour or 2 later, so not the worst thing if you miss the original connection, assuming there are seats available.
