Ted Lasso returning for fourth season

I feel the same way.

And season 3 got a little too preachy to me.

The idea of Juno Temple’s character being a former model in that show is a bridge too far for me. She’s a great actress and was terrific in Fargo but I just don’t like her in this role.

I loved Ted Lasso, but I feel like it ended in a really good way and I'm not sure I want to see the characters going through more. I'll probably watch it though, kind of like how I wish they had stopped Offspring after season 5 (but I still watched the last 2 seasons.)

Love Ted Lasso and am glad they are doing more of them

I think she was supposed to be more of a "model," not a real model, if you know what I mean.

We just started this show, and I don't like it at all.

What am I missing?

Sudeikis has always given me the willies, and even more so in this role.

It gets better, but if you don’t like Sudeikis it might not be for you. I thought he and Hader were the best things in that era of SNL so I loved it.

THANK YOU. I've felt the same way, thought I was on a lonely island.

I agree.

For the most part, I really enjoyed the show, sure there were a few blah episodes and slow parts but I thought the last couple episodes of season 3 were great and that the "finale" was really well done. The ending felt like it was wrapped up with a nice neat bow.

The biggest issue with American TV is that they make a show that people like and keep it going for way too long just to make money. It would be so much better if they went in with a defined number of season so the show had a clear path to the ending.

Her character says early on, ‘I’m kind of famous for being famous.’
They didn’t play up the model part much.

+1 I never had the impression that she was a “model,” just that she dated a lot of football players and got famous that way, then had sponsorships etc. because of that.

DP. That's how I felt about Schitt's Creek - hated it. But loved Ted Lasso.

Schitt's Creek and Ted Lasso were both shows that took me a few episodes or a season to get. After that I loved both of them.

I tried to understand the hype up until the Christmas episode in season one, at which point I said “nope, no way.” Complete and utter drivel.

I liked both shows' first seasons, but thought the later seasons didn't measure up.
