I have been to Colorado more times than I can count- lots of family out there. I am not discounting altitude sickness- it’s a real thing, but it’s never affected me and I’ve been to the top of some 14,000 foot mountains. The key is to hydrate. What usually gets me out west, especially in Colorado is the lack of moisture. The air is really dry and my lips get really chapped. Also, at elevation, the sun is intense. You need copious amounts of sunscreen. |
