MAGA erasing history

It IS what is happening. The achievements of the Tuskegee airmen are being purged from history, as one example.

Um, per the article the White House insisted they restore videos about the Tuskegee airman that the Air Force had removed.

The Air Force briefly removed new recruit training courses that included videos of the Tuskegee Airmen soon after Trump’s order. That drew the White House’s ire over “malicious compliance,” and the Air Force quickly reversed the removal.

There are lots of other quiet reversals happening as well - for example some of EPA's Environmental Justice team was called back to work. It's because the work they do was statutorily mandated by Congress and is in fact based on actual history and data around disparities in polluting industry located near poor communities.

The right wing really needs to ditch its deep ignorance, and especially rid itself of its dumb ideas about a "bloated radical left wing deep state of rogue unelected bureaucrats doing things against the peoples will" because that's never been the case.

The mental gymnastics is strong with the you, son.

Yep. This PP always jumps right in to support the MAGA position on whatever is being discussed in this forum. I suspect monitoring DCUM is their day job.

How can any MAGAs defend this???

It's easy to defend.

AP wrote it, so you're only hearing half the story. The other half won't be published because it doesn't fit the narrative.

Look the authors up and see what else they have written. By TARA COPP, LOLITA C. BALDOR and KEVIN VINEYS

See how easy that was? Have a nice day.

They show how wrong they are when they have to rehire people and keep flip flopping on their decisions.

This will not be good for them in the long run.

And maybe if Elon had some diversity at SpaceX, he would not be blowing up rockets and closing airports every few weeks. Total loser.

Exactly. Waste and inefficiency for an exercise that is useless except for propaganda purposes.

Of course the existence of the Enola Gay would be preserved, and (hopefully) the Tuskegee Airmen would be preserved in other contexts. The idea is that these are materials used in training and overall communication to troops and we just can't have them being made aware of the accomplishments of women, minorities, and (not sure if tagged as such) LGBTQ people either in terms of signature accomplishments or just day to day service.

Sickening and cowardly. I guess conservative MAGAs are triggered by these images and need to live in a fake world where only white people exist.

Separate to the racism, what a waste of time, money and resources.

Who could defend voting for such incompetent, petty and casually cruel cowards?

Maybe they could use photoshop and make the plane look like it’s called Enola Incel. That would be close to their hearts.

They sure are proud of them flag of southern surrender!

It’s why they hate the rainbow flag. Gay people didn’t surrender like little biotches.

So did you support the tearing down of statues or protest against their removal?

They apparently don't teach history at Jackson-Reed, formerly Wilson HS.

It is quite obvious that this supposed attack against DEI is actually an attack against everyone that is not a white straight Christian American male (and you can probably add wealthy in there as well).

The subject of this post reminds me of the time Trump said "I see the disinfectant where it knocks it (Covid) out in one minute. Is there a way we could do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning because you can see, it gets in the lungs — it does a tremendous number on the lungs, and I think it'd be interesting to check that."

This immediately became (and we still see variations of it to this day) "TRUMP TOLD PEOPLE TO INJECT THEMSELVES WITH THE BLEACH THEY KEEP UNDER THE SINK IMMEDIATELY - THEIR KIDS AND PETS TOO - AND IF THEY DON'T THEY WILL BE IMMEDIATELY PUT BEFORE A FIRING SQUAD"

Don't ever change Dems. You're too entertaining.

Except it's not the Dems you are entertained by. MAGAs are like schizos walking down the street, talking nonsense to themselves and cracking themselves up. You live in a fantasyland of your own lies and delusions. Leave the rest of us, who are sane and reasonable, out of it.
