The Liberty, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Boston
Stayed her me teens last summer. It is a Marriot that used to be a Prison! Was a good location |
The Residence Inn is very nice! I think they're doing the stay 4 nights get the 5th night free deal right now too. |
Copley Place is great! |
Either one is fine, but neither anything special. I have slight preference for the one at Copley because there's more in the immediate area. |
NP. Like what? What are the top sites to see? Freedom Trail, Faneuil Hall - what else? |
Mike’s Pastry! Bring cash. |
I prefer staying in Copley with teens - more centrally located and more things that will interest them in the immediate area. |
I lived in Boston in the early 2000s. I get why people like staying around Copley, but I never get why people say it’s centrally located with things to do in the area (not critiquing you specifically, PP, lots of posters said the same on the other Boston thread). There is nothing to do around Copley except shop and eat. And it isn’t centrally located, unless you, say, have a kid at BU and will be going there and to the downtown sites. |
If that line is too long, Modern Pastry across the street is very good too. |
As a Bostonian, I completely agree to all of the above. |
