Have heard from many families how horrible he is to special needs kids. Or any kid with any extra needs. Maybe you'll be ok if your kids don't need any services. But you never know.

Had a gifted kid at Cardinal. Pulled her out midway through the year to attend Nysmith which focuses on gifted kids. I honestly liked the school a lot and agree the community is very warm, but the reality of Arlington is that with learning loss from the pandemic they are putting resources toward kids who are struggling, both with academics and with mental health. One gifted teacher for 500 kids is absurd from a resource perspective.

Oh good lord, this is not because of learning loss or Covid. APS also had one gifted teacher pre pandemic too. Not everything is due to learning loss!
