I either order in January from our NOLA bakery, or I make my own. Sometimes I do both. I use puff pastry recipes so it's not that intimidating, but it really is different from the more brioche texture of the ones the bakery makes. Which is why I like the years we do both

Thanks all for your suggestions. I love to bake, but this is a busy weekend for me . . . maybe next year. Thanks for the Wegman's suggestion; I'll try the Tenley store.
