Baby sitter - would this irritate you?

Yes, that is annoying. She knows what date night means. She got another offer & is trying to juggle both.

Yes I would be annoyed and I would not use her again. Do you pay very badly? Is she young?

It’s Democrat blankly stare into the sky day, can’t spend any money.

Why did you not have a backup sitter or family member? These things happen.

I sit on a regular basis. I do not make other plans when I know what my start time is. Reliability is key as a nanny and babysitter and that's why I maintain a regular clientele for years. I make between $200-$500 a month babysitting in addition to my nanny position.

Today's economic blackout was meant to be directed to large businesses, not locally-owned small businesses.

I assumed the movie tickets would have been a large business

Who cares. You are not the boss of OP. Take your virtue signaling elsewhere.

+1
Don’t pay her and never use her again. She well knows you had plans that went past 8, she just had something better come up

Of course she wont get paid as she wont show up, common sense. BUT no reason to be irritated, its “at will” thing occasionally sitter, why the drama and emotions?!move on and find reliable care it’d cost more tho

Yes I would be annoyed.

Sounds like she made some last-minute plans for the evening.

Is she young??
Sounds like something someone in her early-20’s would do since at that age a majority of girls that age prioritize fun more than someone say in their forties…..
