yes it's useless as just a limited bezos-approved mouthpiece now. |
Unsubscribed from WaPo and Amazon prime! |
For those just now unsubscribing from WaPo: if you had an annual membership with paid time remaining, you can write to them via their "help" link and get the remainder refunded. The default simply terminates your auto-renewal. |
The paper lost $100 million last year. Rather than preaching to the shrinking choir, he is going after the Wall Street Journal. |
It’s literal called the OPINION section. Anyone can submit an opinion. |
Does this move by Bezos look like the act of someone who anticipates the Democrats coming back into office anytime soon? |
Weird. I posted about this earlier and it was deleted. |
What’s wrong with NYT? |
RIP to the Washington Post. |
Their economics expert , Ms Rampell, is an anthropology major from Princeton. Grew up rich, went to Princeton for anthropology, who does that that isn’t rich, and now lives in manhattan in high rise exclusive apartment.

He has mandated no opeds against free markets or personal liberties. |
Thanks. I just unsubscribed today, after being a subscriber for 28 years. I’ll write to get that refund. |
I cancelled my subscription when bezos canned Harris endorsement. Don't know what else I can do. Is Bob Woodward still at the Post. His resignation would be a BIG deal. |
I think he's still listed on the internet as Associate Editor at WaPo, but not sure how involved Woodward is in WaPo's current state under Bezos. Both Woodward and Bernstein blasted Bezos in a statement when he pulled the paper's Kamala Harris endorsement last-minute fearing Trump's wrath. https://www.aol.com/bob-woodward-carl-bernstein-blast-051451035.html |
This was a toy for Bezos. He got bored. He has no plan. |
