BCC stage crew safe for freshmen?

When I was in high school, the stage crew was a place for kids who didn't fit in anywhere else and felt excluded from other groups (myself included). So having rumors about them being a haven of drugs and sex seems to be right on trend.
Meaning, of course people not affiliated with the stage crew would believe negative rumors about the kids before accepting what actual parents of those kids have to say. |

| This is absurd. My daughter (senior) has been heavily involved in stage crew her whole time at BCC and I’m not aware of any culture of drugs or sex. In fact, it is the nicest, kindest, most inclusive group of kids you could ask for. We have had nothing but favorable experiences. |

| There is sex and drugs in every group and school but usually this is one of the better groups to join. |
