Need Advice: Keep the car, or pay high repair costs?

I used greentecauto in 2019 as they had a location close enough for me to drive to and replacement went fine.
Looks like a current refurbished battery for a 2013 Prius is less than 1500.

Love the comments on this post! So exciting to see that a cell or pack of cells can be replaced versus installing a brand new battery. There's something to be said about Toyota's repairability! 100x better than Tesla.

They are two different batteries. Prius' have about 28 nickel metal hydride cells in a battery pack, while Tesla's have 1000s of lithium ion cells.

I would assume the loss and buy a new one.
