How does OP know that, when Trump shows no evidence of having a relationship with Jesus Christ?

He shows more evidence that he’s a Christian than that he’s an atheist.

Yes, with all the swearing, lying, misogyny, not going to church, not believing he needs forgiveness, not knowing the Bible, etc.

What he didn’t put his hand on the Bible at confirmation.

He sold bibles with his name in them.

He thinks he’s god

Oh, like wiping out aid to poor people all over the world so he can make Musk a trillionaire with tax cuts? You need to have your head examined. He hasn’t started putting people in gas chambers yet but he’s every bit as bad as Hitler. Look how he has divided this country.

Effectively he is. Tell me, what is is about his character or behavior that says “I’m a Christian!”?

He acts like a lot of “Christians” I know.

His actions are the most ant-Christ I’ve ever seen, he is on par with Hitler. He is truly evil. We need to stop his power. He is destroying lives and using us.

Hello from OP - Also an atheist - a good one, unlike Trump. There are all types of Atheists. Just like religious people. Most of us are decent people. Some of us are terrible, like Trump - who poses as a Christian to take advantage of them.

Lots of atheists were former christians. They know the Bible and are good people, unrelated to the Bible. Not Trump.

Oh really have you even read the Bible?

No hand on Bible at his coronation if he’s so godly why didn’t he put his hand in the Bible?

Why is he selling them with his name god?

Lying cheating scamming conning hurting cruelty dues not make a man of the Bible .

And what denomination is DT going to make the US ?

Evangelical and Baptist no you utterly horrible Bible thumpers there is one religion coming because it is the wearhist and it’s the golden goose.

Money it’s always been the money.

Jews who voted for this Nazi I will never forgive.

There was a political strategist in the 1980s that realized the Christian right was extremely malleable. They also realize their leaders like money more than Christ so they could be bought kind of like Joel Osteen.

Since then the Republican strategists have targeted this group and drowned them with propaganda and it’s been a winning strategy because they literally vote against their own beliefs.

People need to recognize what Trump is as the current mainstream brand of Christianity and as the majority religion of the United States.

Not organized, occasionally going to services, know some Christian aphorisms and views that are mostly from the retail side of Christian sermonizing (think self help and TV sermons), but are mostly hedonistic and family-centered.

Oppositional to the kind of secular or religious (often organized-religious Christian) views that would suggest self-restraint or giving to others or tolerance. Using the Bible as a cudgel, not a guide to life.

Loving others starts with spouse and children, earning enough to support them comfortably (so capitalism and working hard are valorized), and ends at extended family.

From my experience, that is what most Christians are like. I feel like you don’t know a lot of Christians. Their son of a b**tch** 167 hours a week.

In what way does his love start with a spouse and children when he treats them like ****?

Trump is the type of Christian that is an opportunist, hypocrite, who uses religion to control, less intelligent people.
