Best family friendly resort in FL on the beach?

30A is spring break destination. Sarasota and areas south of Sarasota are probably less of a spring breaker destination and the Gulf may be better beach for younger kids then the ocean.

30A is WAY too cold for Spring Break for me. You can't swim in the water until at least end of April/May.

Absolutely agree. We don’t go there before May. It’s too cold.

It’s not super easy to get to, but Hawks Caye could be a good fit for you

30A is beautiful but the water may still be cold in April and I'm seeing a lot more spring breakers there.

Is Longboat Key Club open again? I believe they had damage from the last hurricane. We were there last year and loved it. We had a two bedroom which had a great kitchen and living room area. There is a Publix down the road and it is close (driving distance) to St. Armand’s Circle.

Recovery is ongoing, but things are mostly back to normal. I would go.
