I sometimes wonder if people are reading phonetic pronunciations the way I do.

I pronounce it like the English pronunciation here.

Unless the person speaks Spanish, then I use the second. Although I know some people who speak Spanish and pronounce the R more like a D.

lol now let's dust off Mary/merry/marry - these are words that sound slightly different in my head but when I speak them aloud they all sound the same. Like I CAN make them sound different but it is very affected.
