No, she's going this fall! Got deferred from UF but we liked FSU better anyway.

And Loyola Maryland has recently peaked his interested... he applied late there.

I believe all these options are ahead of FSU, not sure about UTK, if he gets in there. He really liked it, but it is a haul to get there and back...

That is not the case at my FCPS, at least if you are talking about the main campus. Strong students get into UTK and UofSC early but only get 2-2 to Penn State . Students a cut below got deferred early at UTK and UofSC but all got in eventually but definitely not into University Park.

Yes. Engineering at Penn State UP.

DS was also deferred at JMU, but DS was accepted to UofSC-Columbia

Tennessee has changed some law or policy to now give preference to in-state students... As a result, UTK is now harder to get into as OoS.

Fsu, but it is a little difficult to travel too- not a lot of direct flights to Tallahassee. The campus is beautiful - I think the prettiest among the Florida publics.

I've toured most of them and I agree. Feels like such an underrated school. Lots to like about it. There are direct flights to DC.

RD comes out this Thursday... I believe OOS acceptance rate is around 15%??
