It’s very frustrating. I’ve had the same issue, Whole Foods no longer offers any 365/Whole Foods brands without palm oil.

Thanks for this information! Bummer though. The original PB was excellent, and nicely priced. PB

If you call the (corporate) phone number and complain nicely, they'll send you a coupon for a free one to offset it.

I have no idea. I’ve never checked that. OP

Wow! Good to know! Thanks! OP

Trader Joe’s has chunky peanut butter where the only ingredient is peanuts. No added oils. In case you’re near one.

Coming to say the same thing. Go to Trader Joe’s! It was $1.99 forever and recently up to $2.49 but still good price and tasty product

Older Black female job hunter here. It’s not. It is, however, the one that I have the personal ability to address. I’ll stop there.

Why are you bringing your skin color and age and job hunting status into a discussion about peanut butter? Seriously?!

Thanks for your recommendation. I’ll plan to stock up.

I'm sorry. Sometimes it's the little things that really get at you.

I'd probably take it in and be very nice at the desk and just say that you must have mistakely grabbed it thinking it was your usual because it looks very similar, and upon opening realized it was different and that you are sensitive to the ingredients. Also can they kindly point you to what you're looking for or has it changed? There is no way they won't take it back, given how easy it is to do WF/Amazon returns. If you don't have a receipt they probably have it if you scanned your phone at the register.

Not OP but probably because it's proven to be objectively more difficult to job search when older and not white in America. It's like saying "I'm running a marathon but have asthma." FFS.

It was in response to the PP who suggested how “very very lucky” I must be if this is my “biggest problem right now”. It’s not. Rather than list my even bigger problems, I thought I’d provide that PP with enough demographic information to allow the PP to envision some of the even bigger problems that I might be facing. PP, since you question my response, I hope you’ll be equally concerned about the post that led to it. Wishing you a peaceful day. OP

Thank you for your suggestions— and your very kind response. I do have the receipt, so I’m hoping that an exchange or a return will be pretty easy.

Just stop returning stuff. You're the reason everything is so expensive. Seriously. OP can make cookies or pancakes. She already warmed up to that idea is not a grub like you. Please use what was opened. The store will dump it.

Bezos ruined Whole Foods.
