| I love cooking and experimenting. I HATE cooking for my family!! They whine and complain while I tell them "you don't have to like it. You have to eat it." I'd rather just cook for myself or adults who won't complain. I'm so tired of pasta, tacos, and plain food. |
She is old enough to help cook dinner or even cook dinner a couple nights a week. |
| Your kids are old enough; why aren’t they involved in cooking? That’s basic college prep. They can help with meal ideas, grocery list, meal prep and actual cooking. Even if you make the stir fry, they can chop the vegetables the night before… |
| I like cooking and love eating good food, but would like to have a couple nights where I could eat whatever I wanted and not worry about feeding others. I love a charcuterie type meal, or even just cheese and fruit, but my DH and kids are not down for that. |

| Honestly, fasting is good after a certain age anyway so I see nothing wrong with skipping dinner or breakfast. |
You are not the only one. Almost 20 years ago I went to ask my older neighbor to borrow a baking dish. She said, "I'll look, but I really don't cook anymore." I remember not being able to fathom that. Now I get it 100%. |
| I am to and have had night where I pause cooking dinner to sit on the floor and cry for a few minutes. Planning and cooking others food is soul sucking. |
I watch a lot of meal plan/meal prep videos on YouTube but then I don’t actually end up cooking most of the ones I like. We end up making the same things we always make. |
| Cooking I enjoy. Grocery shopping and meal planning, I hate. So stuff like hello fresh is good for me. |
Ugh agree |

Sometimes I love to cook and I get really into it - new recipes, buying ingredients, listening to a podcast while I cook. And sometimes I just want to order Indian takeout and be done with it. Having really hungry teen boys does help though, they eat so much and appreciate the food. But usually, I don’t even want to each much after spending so much time planning and cooking.
When I lived in Korea, a lot of people don’t cook. There are very affordable services that drop off prepared meals at your apartment, and it’s not crappy DoorDash, it’s food that your mom would have made. Everyone has an insulated bag outside their door where the food is dropped off. It’s amazing. |

I live alone & am a “frozen food chef 👩🏻🍳 “ and am content.
While a homecooked hot meal would be lovely on occasion I much prefer to eat out or warm up a TV dinner. |
Over a couple of days, plan several meals Shop on a different day than planning day Cook a different day than day if planning and shopping. Yes time is limited. |

I used to love cooking so much.
My spouse got weight loss surgery and I really need to cut down on sugar and carbs, I just don't find the same joy anymore in it. Maybe it will come back but I am tired of all the prep before and cleaning after. |
