According to the Post and other outlets, a federal judge delayed the spending freeze until Feb 3.

Politico also put out a list of affected funds. IRA and BIL/IIJA seem to be the most affected. Whether Dept of Ed decides its grants are "woke" remains to be seen.

You can rest assured the right wingers that are running the gov't/dept. of education will be putting a LOT of strings attached to any more grants. Immigrant students, antiracist things, etc. And I'm not saying that as someone against these things--just a prediction.

The Dept of Ed seems to be spending time and resources chasing gender-neutral bathrooms. Perhaps they'll be too busy to rob schoolchildren of critical funding.
