I thought their field was in Leesburg. No?

About 9 minutes from Aldie/South Riding. Google it.

VRSC is much much closer to Aldie than LS.

😂 idk if this person is trolling you or what. It isn’t 9 min. From south riding you have to go all the way down evergreen mill to leesburg. Evergreen mill is a one lane road that can have its own traffic issues. It is definitely not that close to Aldie/south riding as people say it is

How the heck is it “much much” closer when. VRSC and LS are literally 3 miles away from each other. I guess you guys are just trolling OP at this point

Hilarious. Its 14 miles from South Riding Town Hall to VRSC. That's easily 35 minutes in evening traffic. Its not significantly closer than Loudoun Soccer. Both are not convenient.

LS travel soccer could practice all over Loudoun vs VRSC only practices at the sportsplex.

1/2 of the Loudoun practices are probably at Hanson Park anyway these days. I know my son is 50/50 between LSP and Hanson.

Blanket statements, but yet the club is still thriving. It's all about perspective and who you get as a coach. Plenty of VR, loudoun, etc hate. Not everyone is unhappy as you.

My kids LS team has all their practices at Hanson.

The OP doesn't seem to know the travel landscape. It's likely a U little parent starting travel for the first time. If the kid is good, they will learn they have to drive to the best clubs.

It may seem "thriving" because it has a million teams and tons and tons of churn on the lowest teams. Given the 2000 page thread on here of disgust and complaints about Valor, it just makes sense for a reasonable consumer to avoid. What are the odds you would be one of the handful of families who have a good experience?

BUt there are no guarantees. You might get Hanson, or you might have to schlep all the way out to Leesburg.

My guess is they OP already plays rec with CYA or SYA, which is why they don't want to join Valor.

My two Loudoun soccer kids have one night at Hanson and one night at LSP in Leesburg. One kids has most home games at Hanson too.

OP said ‘avoiding Valor for obvious reasons’ and clearly doesn’t think the juice is worth the squeeze with Loudoun Soccer. In other words, OP is a savvy consumer.

OP: You will need to drive out of the county to find what you are looking for.
