I am also going plastic free as much as possible.

I get mine when we travel to France and Italy every couple of months. Roger & Gallet and Acqua di Bolgheri.

I’ve used unscented Dove my entire life. I have pretty dry skin and the moisturizer is enough for me. I notice it at hotels if I don’t bring Dove with me.

Regular Dove and a layer of Aveeno after.

I find drug store brands irritate my skin (even Dove). I've had good luck with bar soap from A La Maison. You can find it at Whole Foods and Amazon.

Any suggestions?

Bar soap is made from petroleum oil and paraffin wax. It is the wax that makes your skin feel dry.

Use a liquid dish detergent such as Palmolive. Repurpose containers or buy in bulk.

Dove for sensitive skin is the best.

+1 i use on my face too. It’s not drying at all. I love the sensitive skin bar because it is also unscented. Yo me, the regular bar has a strong soapy scent.
