Patrick for a baby boy

I have a DS15 Patrick, so I obviously love it. Everyone still calls him Patrick, never Pat. Was my grandmother's maiden name.

It's a very 1960's/1970's name. I think there are much better names you could pick. Paddy is cute, I guess.

My colleague named her baby boy Patrick, nickname "Mac" since he's the third generation with that name. Her husband goes by Pat. Solid name!

I am Irish so it's a common name for us. My last name is Irish sounding too.

Very Irish. I don’t hate it but strongly dislike Pat so it would be out of the running for me.

Love it.

I think the Pat nickname is possible, but certainly not inevitable.
