Snow Day meals

I did a great job shopping and cooking for the first snowstorm but this time I blew it and the family will just have to deal with what’s in the pantry and freezer.

French toast and bacon was our start to the day, but it’s just cold and rainy outside.

I have pork shoulder in the slow cooker for pulled pork sandwiches.

It's not snowing yet. You still have time to run to the grocery store. I bought extra ice cream.

We overdid the snow day cooking the first round and made all of favorites forgetting that we are empty nesters. It took a full week to finish the leftovers so we’re less excited this time.

I am just making a small baked Mac n cheese because I’m grading today and tomorrow and it’s much less labor intensive than anything I usually do for snow days. I think DH will make red beans and rice. Between those, we’re set for today.
