I did not have any side effects. My BP medications were fine to take with Paxlovid, no interactions there. I did have rebound but no symptoms other than faint positive line on the test

A new retrospective cohort study conducted in Dubai shows that the antiviral nirmatrelvir plus ritonavir, sold as Paxlovid, is tied to a 61% reduction in COVID-19 hospitalization and a 58% lower rate of long COVID.

The most recent data published in October 2024 shows Paxlovid is tied to a 61% reduction in COVID-19 hospitalization and a 58% lower rate of long COVID.

This is the largest study of its kind and all omicron variant, which makes it much more relevant to our situation today.
