Fabric recycling in northern Virginia

I don’t think the fabric recycling is fake. It gets used for rags and stuffing, etc. The plastic I don’t know about. I know they can turn some plastic into some items like benches and toys but it’s extremely difficult to sort.

A minuscule amount gets recycled into blankets for the homeless.

We buy too much crap.

You can only use FCC Recycling if you live there.

I'm not in your area but I found a thrift store that accepts fabric recycling so that might be an option but you have to call around to find out.

Fab Scrap does this (resell and remake left over fabric from garment manufacturing and decor)
