| There are games this weekend? |
|
Most counties won't let you touch the fields in any way and don't have the right equipment to deal with snow on turf.
Privately owned fields can do whatever they want - even if they don't have the right stuff. |
| We’ve played on plowed turf fields in new England to tournaments in March. Big plow hills down the sidelines |
Loudoun will just y.all to pay for some new turf |
| Evergreen plows |
Friendlies every weekend even the ones you think you have off. MLSN/GA/ENCL is LIFE. Apparently. |
|
| You posted this on the Arlington neighbors page. Girl they don’t plow fields!! |
LSP was plowed Tuesday |
Easier and cheaper than dealing with the parent complaints. |
| Very carefully |
| Bad thing about snow and turf is that it coats it evenly. Since the snow reflects the sun, the turf surface doesn't get a chance to absorb and heat up. The county folks are sticklers for people being on the fields in the snow, but they'd be clear in no time if you simply held a snowball fight there for the kids... Too worried about liability I suppose. |
Good, we'll be out there tonight. This slow melt is frustrating. |
ECNL. LOL |
