| This happens to pretty much everyone. I’ve had people call me an endearing nickname that I’ve never once used, a name that is kinda sorta but not very similar (think “Jenny” instead of “Julie”) or an another name entirely. People can’t hear, or have bad memories, or are distracted. It’s fine. |
