| I'd do the full shower/single vanity and WIC. Eliminating a WIC to do double vanity would be a big mistake IMO. |
|
In this situation, I think the single vanity with WIC is the way to go.
Maximizing the space in both areas is key, so find the right professional to design the space. |
|
My personal preference would be for the smaller master bath and larger closet, if the alternative is smaller closet with a larger shower and two sinks.
BUT if the alternative was a large soaking tub (taking away a portion of the closet space and still keeping the smaller shower and single sink) that is what I would choose. I use my current soaking tub pretty much every single day, and when looking for a new home not having a soaking tub (or ability to easily add one) is a deal breaker for me. |
The emphasis should be on NOT instead of DO. |
Please say more - Why are double sinks important? |
They definitely are not. Eliminating a WIC for double sinks makes no sense. |
Personally I like my own space for my stuff on the counter. It’s nice. |
| I’d try to add closets elsewhere in the bedroom and maximize both bath and closets. How big is the bedroom? Have you thought about making it shorter and having a walk in closet the length of the room? |
So you'll have all your sh*t on the counter and no room for clothes or shoes? That makes sense. |
| I would make sure the shower is nice and you’re not at risk of touching the walls when you’re in there, and then after that keep the closet space. Do not give up closet space for a second sink that you will almost never use together. |
