You can put a password on your router, boomer, so they can't change the DNS there. And don't give them an admin account on their pc/mac. If they set up a proxy, then you pull the plug. This is why I hate this site...so many unhappy, snarky people. I was just trying to be helpful. Go ahead and let your kids run wild, then they will unfortunately end up like you. Miserable sob. |

They can change it on the device itself, which does not require router access. And proxies normally exist in the cloud. There are plenty of ways to get around this stuff, and kids are very good at figuring them out before the adults do. Technological solutions for social problems never work, especially with kids. |
