I have Benjamin Moore Navajo White and Mascarpone in my house. The former is slightly creamier but both are certainly off white/cream. I like both. Mascarpone is great for north facing rooms.
Swiss Coffee is also an excellent option, it will be slightly whiter than Mascarpone. |
| Alabaster by Sherwin Williams |
| Linen White, BM. It is a warm white and very cheery. It does have yellow undertones but ai like that. |
| Origami white by SW |
+1. We have this and the name is apt, unlike some others. |
| I used Benjamin Moore Featherdown. It's a little on the beige side, but in the dim light in my house all the bright whites looked dingy. It ended up looking really good. |
Literally came to this thread to recommend BM Feather Down. My entire home except for the kids rooms is painted this color. It reads as a warm creamy white in my home. |
We have something more similar to Misty Air (googled swiss coffee and it's on the same paint family card, just darker). I didn't choose it (people before us got the whole designer fitting) but I really like it and I'm glad they left some touchup paint. If anyone is really curious I'll go find the exact color, but I think it may be too dark for the general DCUMers white paint crew? |
It reads as creamy white in my low light rooms without bright white accent trim, as very pale beige in the rooms with the bright white accent trim, and almost pale yellow next to my blue kitchen cabinets. But it looks good everywhere. |
| White Dove or Spanish White |
| Op, I hate White Dove too. It looks dingy. BM Simply white is a nice, warm white. |
PP that you quoted. I have bright white trim throughout my home, which gets pretty good light throughout, and still reads as creamy warm white. That said I have a cool-toned bedroom (blue/silver accents, blue comforter, etc) and it works well there as a nice neutral. I'm a big fan. Very versatile. I'd always had either bright white or light gray walls in previous homes but I like this a lot. |
+1. This is the one. |
| BM Vanilla Ice Cream |
Benjamin Moore Manchester Tan. I have in my large living area and it looks great |
