This is what we do. Our EV is used for local driving only, and we never use public chargers. No reason to. We just plug it in overnight every couple days.



Yes we only charge on road trips and sometimes at work. Both of our offices have chargers, and the charger parking spaces are closer, so two nice things there. Otherwise, we just charge overnight at home. In the first year owning an EV, I went to a gas station exactly once and it was to charge in the middle of a 450 mile trip. So nice!
